Meet Our Leadership Team
Each of Gold Wave’s principals has over 20 years of consulting experience, partnering with diverse clients to achieve goals and objectives. Our unique blend of experiences and backgrounds fuel success for clients needing creative, proactive, and comprehensive project management, consulting, engineering, and construction services.

Amy Rainwater, PMP
From the beginnings of her professional career working for the United States Air Force managing the power systems for NORAD, to recent work managing engineering design programs and developing smart grid systems for public utility systems, Amy has demonstrated progressive responsibility in power engineering consulting. She has extensive experience leading large strategic projects and programs with complex scopes involving interdisciplinary engineering solutions for power utility companies.

Lori A. Prokes
Lori has over 30 years in both legal counseling and corporate consulting in the environmental, compliance, ESG, DEI and human resources areas. With experience from manufacturing plant floors to the C-suite of a Fortune 200 company, Lori is ready to take on your consulting needs. By joining with Gold Wave, Lori is utilizing her breadth of experience and passion for organizational excellence and development both within Gold Wave and also within her consulting clients in the sustainability, ESG, DEI and risk assessment arenas.
Lori also specializes in commercial and industrial real estate transactions, as well as the sub-specialty area of environmental liability transfers as part of crafting successful transactions. Lori has been involved in 8 such transactions, making her an industry leader. Lori is a member of Chicago CREW, and a founding Chicago chapter member of CHIEF. Lori is among Commercial Industrial Properties (CIP), REJournal’s women in leadership in CIP markets consulting.

Brian Voss, P.E.
Brian is a versatile, creative and accomplished Professional Engineer and Program/Project Manager with over 23 years of experience in the civil, environmental and process engineering fields, with strong leadership, resource management, problem‑solving, and technical skills. He has a proven track record of managing a wide variety of projects on time and within budget, including design and construction of capital improvement projects, civil and underground utility design projects, water and wastewater engineering, environmental consulting services, and complex site investigation and remediation to address environmental impacts. He is able to apply his knowledge of a wide variety of environmental regulations and concerns, including chemical spills and incident reporting, storm water, spill prevention, underground storage tanks, emissions and wastewater permitting, hazardous and solid waste management, property transaction due diligence, and site investigation and remediation.
Brian has supervised preparation, authored, or provided technical review for hundreds of engineering designs, work plans, reports, bid packages, specifications and other project documents. Brian has experience working with utilities, private industry, healthcare and universities, and public sector clients, and understands how to listen to clients’ needs in order to develop solutions that meet their objectives.
In addition to providing project and construction management services, Brian serves as Gold Wave’s lead safety officer.

Safety
Safety is part of every proposal and project at Gold Wave. A robust safety program championed by Gold Wave Safety Officer, Brian Voss, PE, is incorporated into onboarding new staff, employee performance evaluation, and project performance and success.

ESG Impact at Gold Wave
Environmental, Social, and Governance policy is at the core of Gold Wave’s business model. Sustainability is part of how Gold Wave does business. Along with Safety, ESG is at the heart of Gold Wave, and all of our business practices are built upon this firm and reinforcing foundation. Here are some specific elements of the Gold Wave ESG program. ESG is also a target area for Gold Wave’s consulting services lead by Lori Prokes. Through ESG consulting, Gold Wave endeavors to cascade responsible climate change and environmental, social and governance policies to its Clients in a manner that best integrates with each Client’s unique business.
Gold Wave applies green purchasing principles and greenhouse gas reduction travel policies to do its part in addressing climate change. Zero waste meetings are the goal, through eliminating single use plastics and purchasing reusable and readily recyclable products and materials. All offices participate in recycling, composting and peak hours energy reduction programs. Through infill, blighted properties due diligence & environmental liability transfer expertise, combined with creative/cost-effective remediation approaches, Gold Wave assists its clients in achieving environmental goals that often include environmental justice elements.
